Selecting a Costume What's the occasion? Whether you are attending a Renaissance Wedding or a 50's birthday party, you've come to the right place. Start by deciding what sort of costume you'd like to wear. Then look for the link on the shopping mall and take a look. If you don't see exactly what you have in mind, give us a call! Chances are we have something here at the store that will suit your needs. We just don't have the room to put all the thousands of costumes we carry here on the website. What Size do I need? Unfortunately, each manufacturer sizes their costumes a little differently.. Most children's costumes are sized Small (4-6), Medium (8-10), or Large (12-14). Infant sizes are 0-6 months and 1-2 years. Toddles are usually Small (2-4) and Medium (4-6). But, these sizes may vary depending on the factory. Any differences will be noted next to the size when viewing the costume. Adult sizes are normally Standard. This varies widely depending on the manufacturer. Our best suggestion is if you are average height (men and women), average to slim build, you will fit any of the STANDARD sizes. If you are exceptionally tall or broad, then you should move up to the Plus sizes. The Plus Sizes in retail costumes tend to run on the small side. If you are shorter than average or very slim, you may need to do some alterations to get the costume to fit perfectly. Some of the adult costumes are sized. But the sizes, again vary by manufacturer. Where applicable we will note the appropriate dress size in parentheses. What Accessories Do I Need? When viewing a particular costume, you will find suggested accessories at the bottom of each page. Just click on the link and you will be swept off to take a look at each suggestion. Use your back button to go back to the original page. What's HOT? We try to update the website on a regular basis, highlighting what costumes are really hot at the moment. But there are a few staples with which you just can't go wrong!
